Notes

As sultry and desirable as the black lamp shades are always beware that they cast light differently than lighter colored lamp shades.  Be sure to pay close attention to lighting with these darker colors.

Love a lamp base but not the shade, buy the lamp and swap shades.

Glam

Glam is about glitz and luxurious fabrics paired with sculptural furnishings (e.g., wingback chairs, rolled arms, tufting, nailhead trim, fluted chair/sofa legs).  This glam look veered from the typically monotone palette for some boldness in the rug and sofa, but achieves the polish of a glam look.
